My Year as an Intern

The poem referenced in my blog, Roller Coaster.

The poem Roller Coaster was so true about being at my field site. When I first got to Spicer, I was nervous, I didn't think I would be able to handle little kids or be able to get the routine down. Even more nerve reckoning was memorizing their names. I was terrified that I wouldn't be able to remember all of my kids names. But as time went by, things got easier. I handled the class and i took control. My fear became my enjoyment. I LOVED going to my class. I LOVED seeing my kids. Even better, my class loves seeing me. everyday they hug me goodbye and tell me how much the don't want me to go. I really hope I get to go back to John D. Spicer next year and get to see my kids in their second grade class.

I have had great memories from Spicer and i have had so tricky situations but all the good over powers the bad. I wouldn't trade those memory and special moments for anything.
